cny

ahh yess.. chinese new year. i hope everyone enjoyed their chinese new year this year. the year of the rat LOL. by the way,did you all realise that people usually don't use any rat pictures for posters etc. they associate hamsters to rats HAHA. poor cute lil hamsters.

well,my cny was spent in kelantan. haha yess, KELANTAN. the place where people thinks there isnt any internet or malls or even cinema. actually they do have malls and internet there laa. i dont go there for the malls. its not as nice as the ones we have here LOL. i did go to the beach but penang's beach is also nicer than the ones there. except Tok Bali laa. its nice there.

on the eve,we gathered round the table and had a reunion. not all my relatives turned up due to some reasons. but anyway,we still had our reunion laa. it was okay. after eating, we played cards. haha the usual thing we do every year. but NO money is involved.

on the first day of cny, we all got dressed up as usual. we spent our day in the old house( its not old. its jus the house that has been our place to go every cny). all we did was get our angpows. ahh yess. the food. that is one thing i really enjoy-the food! its my family tradition to have this specially made chicken thingy for cny. its my grandma's recipe. and and.. we had sharks fin every year too, without fail. then,we palyed cards again. in the evening, we went to Dalam Rhu. its a beach near my dad's hometown. it was kinda nice. truthfully,my first day of cny was spent eating and playing cards only. LOL isnt it sad??

on the second day, we went visiting in machang at around 12pm. its my aunt's in-law's open house. we ate quite lil cause the food wasnt that nice. hehe then,then.. it was time for us to start being vain!!! vanity striked us. my cousin irene, my sister grace and i went all around that area to take plenty of pictures. LOL only some turned out nice unfortunately. we went back home at around 5something >.< color="#cc0000">KUNG FU SHOWS and those TVB live concerts! OMG! in the evening around 6pm, we went to Tok Bali. took lots of photos there. haha you cant blame us for being so vain laa. we're born vain. the camera just lovess us. LOL then we went to the market to get prawns and crabs for dinner. we bought fish too. this night was our final night together. so yea, dinner was really special this day. my uncle became the cook for the day instead of my aunties. not bad laa his cooking. ^^ then at night,we played cards again >.<>

on the forth day, majority of us went back. the house became so quiet laa. it was sooo jammed on that day. it took us 5 hours plus to reach penang. then at night, we went to Tao for dinner with my relatives. they are from my mum's side. the food there is nice. i love the sashimi laa. and the abalones.. yummy! (the thought of it is making me hungry now) lol.
