DiGi iPhone 4 Life

Finally, we're down to our final challenge for the DiGi iPhone For Win Contest by Nuffnang!

Honestly, I think this is the hardest to blog about because we're only asked to write a blog post with the title "DiGi iPhone 4 Life" and we're suppose to include a picture of ourself using the iPhone frames given by Nuffnang. So whatever we blog can be accepted as long as it's something to do with iPhone!

Well anyway, let me give you a brief summary of what I blogged about in the first 3 posts.

For the first day, we were asked to blog on why we wanted an iPhone from DiGi. Well here are my reasons:

1. Unlimited downloads on games and apps

2. Video calling which is also known as FaceTime

3. Retina Display

4. Multi-tasking

5. High Definition (HD) video recording

6. 5 Megapixel camera with 5x Zoom

On the second day, I blogged about my favourite app and why I liked it. I chose Hipstamatic which is a photography app and here's why:

1. Affordable price of $1.99 in iTunes

2. Pictures captured are characterized into an old school look

3. Different types of lenses, film and flashes

4. Affordable price on additional lenses, films and flashes from as low as $0.99

5. Instant sharing online

And for the 3rd day challenge, everyone was asked to blog about what we love about the DiGi iPhone4 plans. This is what I like:

1. I'm not charged if I exceed the monthly quota

2. Cheaper calls to my 6 FnFs

3. Free calls, SMS and MMS to up to 6 DG Family™ lines.

And now, for the 4th day's challenge;

The heart represents my love and wish for iPhone 4 and that's the iPhone in the middle of the heart. Lol. So what I'm trying to say in this picture is that I would be the happiest girl alive if the iPhone is mine.

DiGi iPhone 4 Real

With an iPhone 4, of course you would need a good phone plan to go with. What I mean by a good plan is having cheap rates for calls, SMS, MMS and most importantly, internet to access the internet and play some of the games.

So now, to choose between different Telcos for the best rates provided in their iPhone plan! If you didn't know, only DiGi and Maxis are selling iPhone 4 together with their postpaid plans. You have to be wise while choosing your plans because you wouldn't want to be stuck with a plan which is not affordable and regret over it right?

For me, I would definitely choose DiGi! As a student, I usually text and call a lot. I bet almost all students and teenagers do that. I'm currently using DiGi Campus now which is the most affordable one among all, especially its free call after RM2!

But now, with iDiGi Postpaid Plans, it would be more affordable if I do have an iPhone4! There are 3 types of iDiGi Plans- iDiGi 88, iDiGi 138 and iDiGi 238. During normal days, you have to pay the normal prices for the plan but with the iPhone4, it's different!

Let's take a look at the chart.

Do you see what I mean? :)

For iDiGi 88, all you need to pay is RM63 but if you use auto-billing, you only pay RM58! From RM88 to RM63 to RM58- don't you think it's affordable? :D What's more, you get free 200mins for voice calls, 200 free SMS, 20 free MMS and free 1GB internet usage! After using up all your free usage, a rate of 15 cents per min will be charged for voice calls, 10 cents per SMS and 20 cents per MMS. How about the internet after exceeding the monthly quota of 1GB? Well, fret not! You will not be charged for it but the speed of local Internet usage will be reduced to 128Kbps after exceeding the monthly quota. Oh, and you'll get cheaper calls to 6 of your FnFs and FREE calls, SMS and MMS to up to 6 of your DG Family™ supplementary lines.

How about iDiGi 138? :D Well, all you have to pay is RM93 but with auto-billing, you pay only RM88! Another affordable plan, no? In this plan, you'll get free 450 mins of voice calls, 400 free SMS, 40 free MMS and free 3GB internet usage! After your free usage, your voice calls will cost you 12 cents per min, 10 cents per SMS and 20 cents per MMS! The internet speed will be reduced to 128Kbps after your monthly quota is exceeded. Like iDiGi88, you won't be charged! Same goes to your 6 FnFs and 6 DG Family™ benefits.

For the final and most expensive plan, the iDiGi 238! Pay RM163 without auto-billing and only RM158 with auto-billing! Although it is more expensive than the rest, it gives you more free usage on calls, SMS, MMS and internet! You'll get 1000min on voice calls, 600 free SMS, 60 free MMS and a 5GB speed on the internet! How about the rates after exceeding the free usage? You get to enjoy the rates of 10 cents per min for voice calls, 10 cents per SMS and 20 cents per MMS! The same speed as the other two plans applies to this plan too. Same goes to the rates for exceeding monthly quota of the internet, 6 FnFs and 6 DG Family™ benefits.

Well, of course there are certain Terms and Conditions to these plans. You can read them in the picture given above :)

What I love about the plans is the internet charges! It's so affordable and you're not even charged for exceeding the monthly quota even though your speed is reduced to 128Kbps. I don't have to search for a place with WiFi just to go on the internet. It will be as easy as ABC to surf the net and play the games available in iPhone4 now! How convenient right? ;)

The second thing I like about the plans is the cheaper calls given for 6 FnFs. I have no idea how cheap it is but all I know is that it'll be worth it! :D More reason to call my friends and family now!

Also if I do have supplementary lines, I can get free calls, SMS and MMS up to 6 DG Family lines of mine! Isn't that a plus point already? I really like this about the plan. I do not have to worry about hidden charges and expensive bills sent to my home.

DiGi iPhone 4 Play

If you have an iPhone or perhaps you are planning to purchase an iPhone, I'm sure that you'll go to iTunes right away to browse through the wide amount of apps available for download. Especially when the apps are customary made for iPhone only!

There are so many interesting and fun apps in iPhone which I would download if I were to have an iPhone 4- Tap Tap Revenge 3, Puzzle Bobble Lite, Plant vs Zombie, Photo Spot, Hipstamatic, Colour Splash and loads more! Tell me, what's an iPhone without their own awesome apps? :)

To be honest, I actually tried all those apps stated above already. All of them are equally as awesome and fun to play with! But there's always my all time favourite- the Hipstamatic app! :D

Let me tell you why I love this app! First, Hipstamatic costs $1.99 in iTunes; which is affordable for such an awesome app. What I love about this app is that the pictures I capture are characterized by vignettes, blurring, over saturation and discolored images and so, it provides a quirky old school look into my pictures. It sure does bring back the look of plastic toy cameras of the past, doesn't it? ;)

Are you falling in love with it already?

Wait, there's more! This app has many types of lenses; the John S, Jimmy, and Kaimal Lenses, as well as Blanko, Ina's 1969. It also has Kodot Verichrome film and two standard flashes complete with humming sound! If you think 2 free lenses, one type of film and 2 types of flashes are not enough, don't fret! There are additional lenses as well as films and flashes that you can purchase from as low as $0.99! I've tried it on my friend's iPhone and no doubt, those additional stuff are awesome too! :D

DiGi iPhone 4 Me

My boyfriend first introduced the iPhone to me a year or two ago. At first, I thought it was just another ordinary phone except that it was a touch screen phone. As days, months and years passed by, I realized that the iPhone can perform many cool stuff no other phone can perform! So I started growing fond of it and sooner or later, I found myself craving for it. From iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS to the current one which was launched in Malaysia today, the iPhone 4!

Why I want an iPhone 4, you may ask? Here's why!

1. Unlimited amount of games that I can download to entertain myself when I'm out and about. My life will never be boring again!

2. How about video calling? Keeping in touch will never be as hard anymore! With iPhone 4, I can have video calling one click away. It may seem normal because almost all phones already comes with video calling but you know what's more? I can actually share what I see around me with the back of the camera! Which phone can I do that with? :O

3. In addition, the iPhone which comes with a Retina Display is perfect for picture viewing and also when I zoom into the text I want to see online. It will also be easier to access blogs and to update my blog when I'm on the go.

4. That's not all! iPhone 4 now comes with multi-tasking! I can now listen to music while checking my mail or my text messages, or even play multiple games without exiting it. Awesome, no?

5. Another reason why I want an iPhone 4 from DiGi is because I can record a High Definition (HD) video and share instantly online because I can do simple editing on the phone itself! Oh, did I mention that I can just tap on the item I want to focus on while recording? Tell me, which phone brand would actually think of such awesome feature?

6. 5 Megapixel Phone with 5x zoom! Seriously, who wouldn't fall in love with that? Now I can take pictures with good quality without bringing a separate camera along wherever I go! Isn't it convenient? I can even upload them on online without the need to perform edits! AWESOME! :D

Need I say more? Seriously, what more can I ask for but the iPhone 4 that was just launched in Malaysia today! :D There are soooooooo many awesome things in iPhone 4 that I've ever dream of!
